Our Purpose

Committed to helping the residents on how to organize; fighting back together; clean up empty lots; forming tenant aasociations and block associations; working with the police on crime andwith the city and other landlords on housing; fighting to create jobs and improve local economics.

Our Mission

To improve the quality of life in through the design and implementation of programs and developments that;

• Increase the availability of quality housing to 
         people of different income levels;
• Enhance the delivery of social services,
         particularly to the Homeless and Elderly;
• Foster economic revitalization;
• Enhance the educational and development
         opportunities for youth;
• Build community capacity.

The thrust of "Liberty" overall program is geographically focused on New York City, and New York State area. A fundamental tenet of "Liberty" philosophy empowerment is the notion the ordirary citizens, through hard work, decdicated service and collective action can make a difference in their communities.

Community Activities:

• Soup Kitchens;

• Pantries;

• Thrift Stores;

• Job's/Entrepreneur"s Readiness Program;

• Back Utility Payments Fund (Up to 3 Months 
           per year);

• Back Rent/Mortgage Payments Fund (Up to 3
